Research Facilities

The Atmospheric Science Department at UAHuntsville has excellent research facilities for conducting research. The department has state of the art computer facilities, radars, mobile instrumentation to study severe weather and roof top facilities for studying lightning, aerosols, and other aspects of the atmosphere. The department also houses excellent research instrumentation for studying atmospheric chemistry. Through our NASA partners we also have access to real time satellite data sets. Our National Weather Service partners enable us to study, monitor, and forecast severe weather. Explore the links on this page for further information.
